Since 1998, New Jersey Youth Corps of Phillipsburg has worked with many local government, state government and non-profit agencies. It is through these partnerships that we have been fortunate to serve our community and our state. In doing so we have also provided Corpsmembers with an opportunity not just for performing service, but service in a capacity that affords our Corpsmembers the chance to learn while performing service; this is the core of our Service Leaning program.

One of the more unique attributes of the New Jersey Youth Corps of Phillipsburg is its development of Community Service projects that mirror those of the Civilian Conservation Corps of the 1930’s and 40’s established as part of the Roosevelt’s New Deal. Utilizing the expertise of the staff we capitalize on teachable moments while engaging youth in hands-on activities to reinforce the learning process. NJYC of Phillipsburg is Warren County’s ONLY full-time Service & Conservation Corps. While our services are varied, they concentrated in the environmental realm and that has led us to a diverse cross-section of partnerships and collaborations.
